1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bimmer Studio (bimmer.studio and bimmerpower.studio), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Bimmer Studio provides BMW vehicle diagnostic, coding, and service management tools including:

  • CC-ID Calculator — decode check control messages
  • VIN Decoder — decode vehicle identification numbers
  • Coding Studio — view and understand ECU coding parameters
  • Service Manager — manage vehicle service history records
  • DTC Explorer — look up diagnostic trouble codes
  • ECU Flash tools (for authorized dealers/partners)

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Some features require a paid subscription or credits.
  • Payments are processed securely via our payment provider.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support within 7 days of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Modify vehicle software in ways that violate emissions regulations or road safety standards
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our software
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your account access or credentials
  • Use automated scripts/bots to access our services without permission
  • Circumvent access controls or security measures
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems

6. Vehicle Modifications Disclaimer

Important: Modifying vehicle ECU software may void your manufacturer warranty, affect vehicle insurance, or violate local regulations. You are solely responsible for ensuring any modifications comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Bimmer Studio provides tools and information but does not encourage or endorse illegal modifications.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, and tools on our platform are owned by Bimmer Studio.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary software.
  • Vehicle data you upload remains your property.
  • "BMW", "MINI", and related trademarks belong to BMW AG. Bimmer Studio is not affiliated with BMW AG.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any damage to vehicles resulting from the use of our tools.
  • We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

9. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately.
  • Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or site notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
